Hello, my name is Liz and I am a Clinical Psychologist based in King’s Cross, London, offering both online and in-person support. I believe that our mental health is fundamental to our overall wellbeing, and that everyone deserves the space to explore their thoughts and feelings with warmth, compassion, and empathy. I work collaboratively with my clients to develop a shared understanding of their experiences. Background

I completed my BSc in Psychology at Durham University, my MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology at Newcastle University, and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London (KCL). In my current role at University College London (UCL) I provide psychological therapy in a specialist NHS talking therapies service, conduct clinically focused research, and I am a course tutor supporting the professional and personal development of Trainee Clinical Psychologists on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme.

I am fully registered with the Health Care Professional Council as a registered Clinical Psychologist: PYL043161.

Research Interests

I conduct research into obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. Specifically, I am passionate about improving the detection, early intervention, and treatment of BDD in young people and young adults, and this is a key focus of my ongoing research. I conduct novel research to inform understanding of current treatment practices and underlying mechanisms maintaining symptoms, whilst promoting awareness and knowledge of BDD amongst mental health professionals. I value that my active involvement in clinically focused research in a world-renowned university strengthens my ability to deliver effective therapy and remain up to date with developments in psychological therapies, particularly CBT.
